This saw is a recent purchase thanks to OWWM member Dave Young. At a recent NW get together he mentioned seeing this saw at the local Habitat for Humanity retail store. The last thing I need is another RAS but I drive by the H for H store almost every weekday. After a couple weeks I finally stopped in and this saw practically threw itself at me crying "take me home, take me home". How could I resist? I don't know how many of the GK models were made but it can't be too many as they were only made from 1938 to 1943. I'm pretty sure this is the original paint and the original table. There does not seem to be any paint underneath these colors and I have now seen three unrelated DeWalt's of this vintage with the same exact paint scheme. This ones serial number is 23449.
