I just purchased this fantastic sander on E bay last week . It was described as a 42 " but it is actualy a 48 " It was sitting in a scrap metal junk yard. It was actualy in remarkable condition , considering that it had been sitting outside in the weather for some time. We have already gone thru this sander and repaired and replaced some parts that have shown a lot of wear over the the years . We had a local machine shop rebuild the direct drive bushings . It has three motors ... 7 1/2 hp on the first drum , 5 hp on the second drum and a 3 hp on the feed drive . I found a source for 48 " wide sandpaper and that came in today , so it is ready to go to work tomorrow. It has the serial No.51J21
