This saw was on Cl for free. IT had all the cast iron table extensions, and the blade guard and miter gauge.
Rebuilt the saw, changed bearings in arbor, polished every nut and bolt and built a period appropriate stand out of off-cuts and scraps from the bin. I upgraded the motor to 1PH (motor is a bit newer maybe mid 1940s but still what I consider a good match for the era). With a Freud blade, I am very happy with how the saw operates. Some on OWWM mentioned that they like how it is a bench saw built like a cabinet saw and I have to agree that it is indeed a hybrid of sort, very heavy and well built.
