Bought off CL - Drove 50 miles to get it. Young man I had bought it off of had tried to get it to work - he had gotten it from his Grandpa and was trying to s get it to work well enough to sell it. - I told him I didn't care if it worked now as long as most of the pieces were there. - it was pretty much a basket case. Jerry rigged cable and spring mechanism. Had a motor that ran CCW so they tried to run it with belt twisted so it would run CW at the spindle. You can imagine how well that worked. Haven't seen too many that have the spring inside the handle that is used to hold the cable. Luckily I found the dirty paper on this exact machine and it had a pretty good drawing of how things are suppose to work. The internal spring is hand made but the rest is exactly as the factory had made it. Probably not a very good design for the return spring or cable feed but it is returned to the exact original specs and it does work pretty well for it's original intent.
