This planer has been on our heritage farm established in 1820. I am 71 and can remember my grandfather using this planer and it had been on this farm several years previous. My grandfather started a saw mill lumber co. servicing this area and selling to companies such as Leiopold Desk Co., and a casket company in Burlington, Ia. He also owned a sawmill in Ironmountain, Mi.
