A friends father cleaned his basement out and didn't want it. It was in bad shape with a little warping in the table. Everything was frozen and painted together. I didn't think it was worth restoring because of condition and availability of parts. Well I got bored this winter and decided to restore it. After full restoration, new blades and bearings it actually does a great job. Had to make pork chop out of oak, no parts for this machine were available. Getting the torsion spring in the right position was tricky, but worked out great for the pork chop guard. Everything looked good, but what really made it look great was the Atlas badge Donald Frensdorff donated to me for this project. Thanks again Don, you do a great job with the badges.
