Comments:
I was wanting an RAS to fill a need in my shop, so I started doing research. DeWalt RAS's are much more common than Delta's, however, two opinions carried enough weight with me that the 30-C became a quest machine for me:

To quote Bob Vaughan elsewhere on this site, "This saw, in my experience, is the best 10 in. radial arm saw ever made, which is probably why they made it into a 12 incher in later renditions."

Joe Potter, after agreeing with another member on owwm.org that the 30-C was one of the best 10" saws ever made, said, "Plus, if you can find the very rare 12" blade guard sold as an accessory upfitter for the 30C, it becomes one of the best 12" saws ever made."

After a 2551-mile roadtrip (FL-MN), I brought home the 3PH 2HP 30-C that was offered by another member of OWWM.

After a bit of clean-up and new bearings, it's good for the next 60 years.
