This craftsman scroll saw was given to me by a dear old man Sam Milonovich who used to stop by my Fathers shop and buy sink cut-outs from us. Mr Sam retired from Bethlehem Steel and had a small woodworking shop behind his house. The lathe was his favorite tool and when I bought a lathe to turn post for a bed he made a pattern with a special chisel to duplicate 4 post. I believe he said he had this saw from the later 40's and I have had this for 25+ years. Mr Sam built the cart/stand this saw is on and it even has a blade storage drawer. This saw has not seen much use these days but I can't seem to part with it. The blade mount in front or on the side.
