I purchased this machine from craigslist April 2016 for 150$. It came with a gear motor rated for 30 RPM. I turned tool on at sellers house but did not notice how slow the drill was moving. Not sure if he knew better or only drilled Metal? Also someone has added a brass bushing in top of pipe for a third step pulley I have not seen that on this model. Also I found some strangely shaped metal inside the head of the press when I disassembled the Machine. I plan on buying a third step pulley and continuing to use the extra speeds but have not done the math yet to see what I will end up with. I used a mixture of electrolosis, citrus degreaser, and wire wheel to prep metal. I then primed all cast iron with a good two part white epoxy primer for automotive then finished the color in a rustoleum ivory. I really had a hard time picking a color I was sure that I wanted to go away from the always exciting grey that these came. I almost waxed the cast and left it alone the contrast with the polished steel was really cool.... Anyways first time posting here but long time reader.
