Niagara 36 stomp shear (sheet metal shear). I've wanted one of these all my life, I finally found one on Craig's List from a man named Keith. More photos after clean up. This machine is not for sale.

If you look close you can see the foot press was broken near the right side and somebody welded it back together. Looking at other shears on Ebay I see that this is a common issue with this model. The only way I think this can be restored is to get a blank sheet of metal, approx 24" x 6", then get someone to plasma cut all those diamond shapes, then form it into an arc, then weld it in place of the old one. Anyone else done this?

As much as I dislike the existing green paint I'm not going to repaint it unless I can first rebuild the foot kick press.
