This large DeWalt is on Ebay, currently at $5 with 2 days to go. The owner gave me the photographs as well as permission to post them.

This is an extremely unusual machine -- I have never seen one before and I have many books on radial arm saws, including of course the Mr. Sawdust book. Folks on the DeWalt RAS forum were also surprised at it.

It looks like a Comet or similar retracting-arm saw, but is clearly marked as a DeWalt product. It also doesn't look like a Comet, in that the miter stop ring is clearly visible as on a DeWalt. Its model numbering scheme is not like that of a DeWalt -- the big DeWalts were generally called "Gx", where x is A, E, W, etc. Perhaps it was the outcome of an acquisition.

Seller's description: Model # V3-1 ; Serial # 2649, 2479H26 ; 5 H.P. , 3 Phase, RPM 3425, Volts 220/440, Amps 14/7, CYC 60, Frame 686, Winding AK57Q5K2, T Rating Continuous, Temp. Raise 55 degrees, Table 4'x5', Arm 4'
