purchased from original owner in Chanhassen Minnesota. The gentleman used it once to test it, found out he didnt care for metal turning and left it sit on the workbench for who knows how many years. He didnt remember when he bought it but guessed it was in the late 70's. Other than removing 40 or so years of dust and a very fine layer of rust on the bed along with oiling everything properly it was like a new machine. it even came with several accesories that were never taken out of their original packages such as cutters, 3 jaw chuck and such. I have been searching for probably 6 years for this model at a price I could afford as in my area these lathes command a price in the $1000.00 to $1500.00 range.
