Love this web site-found this from one of the members Chuck Hess. He posted that he had several of these machines and he may need to thin the heard that was posted in 2008. So I contacted him to see if he still had one to sell. He did and said he would sale me this gem that he reconditioned and what a sweet machine. So in May 2016 I bought it and I had it shipped from North Carolina to Maryland when i arrived the driver said he thinks it may have fallen over. well when the truck door opened it was on it's side but because this is a well built machine no damage( thank God I did not want to brake down and cry as these machines are very hard to come by). I just received this in May 11th 2016,It came with the 1/2" form, I already ordered the 3/4" and 1-1/2 from Eagle Machinery great people for Oliver parts and finding the age of your Oliver equipment. Chuck also threw in the mobile base and crated the tool for me Thanks again!! Built in 1945 but shipped out in 1946 to BEECHER FALLS MANUFACTURING CORP. in BEECHER FALLS ,VERMONT I'm unsure if Chuck received the tool from there, so from NC to it's new home in Forest Hill MD. From the "BIRTH CERTIFICATE" I bought from Eagle machinery it listed it shipped with a Howell motor this has a GE motor. I will try to scan and add this cert. cost was $194.00 and shipped by railroad
