Bought it at an auction not knowing anything about it or if it even ran. Took it home, plugged it in and it ran! Seemed to struggle a bit, though. Cleaned it up some and tried to cut with it...not good. The blade strayed all over and basically tore through the wood. Went on a quest to find a new blade. The 82" is hard to find. Finally found some at Lowes. Put the new band on and it was better but still struggling. Did some checking (how I found this site) and figured out my problem. My band saw had been converted to cut metal. And not very well. I'm in the process of converting it back to wood and thought I would share my experience.
