I got this motor on a Burke No.1 drill press. It is likely original to the DP because it seems like many Burke drills have Ohio motors on them.
The cord was cracked and frayed, and the previous owner said that when he had used the drill the motor had made lots of blue sparks while running. I took it apart, cleaned the copper rings that the brush for the start winding rides on, cleaned and greased the bearings, and wired it with a new cord. It runs smoothly now without any fireworks.
