Comments:
Purchased at an online local auction. I have wanted a 12" or bigger jointer for a long time but the size and weight of them wouldn't fit in my shop. This one is only a couple of inches bigger each way than my current 8" General. Length is 50 1/2". My son and I carried this thing 70 feet to my truck in two trips without setting it down. I am looking forward to running it with the fence skewed as shown in photo 5 to give a skew cut. The fence also tips to 45 degrees. I will have to design and build a motor mount and blade guard for it. I can't find any literature that shows what the original components looked like. It is very possible it was not built by Cote, only sold by them. If anyone can identify who the maker might be I would love to hear.
