I won this in an online auction on Saturday 19th March, 2016. It was one of two being sold by Te Awamutu College (a high school near Hamilton, North Island, New Zealand (about 300 miles from my home).

I collected it two weeks later, and have spent the last three weeks making a few repairs. While still not quite complete, I turned timber on it for the first time this evening (23rd April, 2016).

2 speeds: 1500/3000 rpm (at 50hz). 1hp; 3 phase. Can turn up to 6 1/4" radius and 33" long. Weighs in at 260kg (about 1/4 ton).
