I bought this used and it came with this story. Delta closed a plant and sold all spare parts to an individual that assembled lathes from the parts and sold them. The lathe is not badged, but the head stock is identical to the 46-140 and the tail stock is a later model. Not sure about the bed, it is 61" in length with a 3" gap. The banjo is probably from another model too.
