Linley Jig Borer, Mk. 1A, with quill up and down power feed and General Electric Polydyne Adjustable Speed Drive. This Polydyne drive adjusts speeds from 276 to 2760 RPM with a 1200 RPM, 3 phase motor. Final spindle speed range is 110 to 3533 RPM by changing the v belt on two-step pulleys. Table travel is approx 5.75" by 11" while quill travel is just under 3". Weighs 800 lbs.
This machine resided in a research lab of the Government of Canada until I acquired it.
