I ordered this in new September 1991 From State Saw and Machinery (no longer in business now) received it on 10/4/1991. This machine replaced a new Fortus Polish made machine bought from the Cayce Company (another company out of business now) this had a leak in the gear box 3 weeks after I bought it. They could not fix or get the parts for it so I sent it back and ordered this Fine Crouch machine. This 5 hp single platen machine with oscillating motor. I had tilting side and end tables added with the maple B/B tops not steel. this came with a 4" diameter idler pulley that 2 years later I replaced with a 3" one for an 1 1/2" inside radius job.The dust hood has an air jet blower to help keep the belt clean. Crouch sold the sander line to Ritter a while back. This has been a great work horse in my shop!
