I've seen more than a handful of these old saws, but this is very much different from most. I would call it "left handed". Notice the orientation of the pulleys on the base. I thought for a second, sometime over the years someone may have swapped everything over, for whatever reason. However, the manufacture's name on the cast base is on the same side as the pulleys, indicating to me the "operator's side". Any thoughts or comments regarding this oddity would be much appreciated.

Apparently this saw was part of a Crescent Machine Co. Universal Woodworker. If anyone out there is in need of this component, please let me know.
