This DP220 was found on CL in Phoenix, Az in 2012. It was in pieces with no motor but did have a nice base, column, and production table. The original head casting had the depth stop tabs broken off among other fractures. A replacement head casting of the same era was found by posting a WTB ad on the OWWM BOYD section. Other parts were gathered up from online auction sites and fellow vintage machine restorers. A vintage Delta motor was recently found on CL so it was time to drag out all the parts and see if everything was there. It was complete so the restoration began. Here is the final assembly:
