This exact machine has some sentimental meaning to me. Back in the late 1970's while serving in my apprenticeship for cabinetmaking at Conrad Protzman's Inc. in south Baltimore I spent what seamed like 1/2 of my time there on this machine. So in 1994 Protzman's went out of business and I attended the auction for this machine, and I got it! This machine does have the coping heads and motor but I just use for tenons and due to my limited space I removed the motor(still keeping it in case I may need it or have to sell it with the machine). I think about that shop every time I get to use that machine. It still has the carbide cutter head that it had when I worked there. All original paint except for the red painted pieces. This still is used in my shop for cabinet frames and shaker type doors.
