Bought this in 2004 from a Friend and fellow cabinetmaker who didn't have use for this any longer. I did have a Powermatic #10 I used until this came along. This is a heavier and easier machine to operate when you move the foot pedal to the right it maintains the chisel stroke automatically allowing you to focus on moving your work piece along.
Stroke speed is also adjustable from 16 to 40 strokes per minute and 2 1/2" to 4" stroke length. Also has a tilting table for custom work. This machine will handle up to a 1" chisel up to 12" thick. This machine works well with my Single End Tenoner. I leave this machine on a pallet for the height and for the pedal the sticks sometimes so I get under the pedal and pull it up.
