Bought this from a local woodworking dealer in 1997, sadly he is no longer in business. At that time my shop was in Fallston on the second floor that did have a freight elevator but no fork lift to move this heavy machine. The first thing I did was ordered a HTD custom size mobile base that comes in handy if the belt comes off or needs to be changed this is done by removing the back cover panel and as you can see this machine is up against the wall. Sadly HTD is also no longer around. Great machine I dado all my cabinet parts on smoother than a dado set especially on melamine materials. Works great on producing fret work and detailed chair backs pattern follows the pin that drops down seconds before the cutter comes up from below. a much safer machine than the over head routers. this one came with a vacuum to hold patterns I ordered a larger top with fence system from C, R. Onsrud to do the dado work. I also added a power feed. Parts and manuals along with tech help is still available.
