Comments:
I acquired the lathe from the school I was teaching at in Chester,PA in 1975.There had been a student wood working class that was discontinued. I use the lathe briefly then it was disassembled and has been in storage until I moved to Rhode Island in 1990 and finally put it back together. I've been using it off and on and have turned some large pieces. It is very stable because of the cast iron and the variable speeds make it easy to control. I have had face plates made for it and they work well also.
