Comments:
This saw was purchased new in 1976 by my Dad from a local hardware store. It has a 3/4 HP Craftsman motor and although it's not a real strong machine, it runs smooth and cuts accurately. I have been using the saw pretty much as a dedicated tenon cutting saw. When cutting tenons, I have found that I get the best results by using two (2) thin kerf saw blades with a steel spacer (shimmed as needed) to match the bit in my mortising machine. The heavy duty tenoning jig for the table saw is also a big plus.
