I don't know much about this grinder, other than I got it from Joe Potters estate sale.

It is 1/4 HP 115 V DC motor, in the last pic it shows the US with a anchor in the middle.

So I am assuming that it is WWII vintage. It has a dove tailed cross slide that is part of the main housing.

And very interesting how the windings only cover half the armature.

I was having a problem with it running very slow, and it needed help getting going.

I sent a couple pics to my friend Mike Thomson and he is the one that noticed in one of the pics I sent him that it was 115V DC.

So I still need to come up with something so I can run it.
