I acquired this along with 5 other Vintage Delta pieces, all from the same era (1946 and 1948). They were purchased as a pretty complete wood shop set which included a Unisaw, a cabinet shaper, a 14" bandsaw with 6" extension,a 6" jointer, a drill press. All pieces are in original condition and very lightly used. The original owner passed away in the 50's and his grandson was left with them. The grandson used the Unisaw a very small amount to cut plexiglass. I purchased the set in the mid 80's from the grandson and have not used them or done anything except store them until now when I started the process of restoration on them, the lathe is the first.
