Found this lathe on ebay.I put my bid in there was a reserve price on the lathe but it never hit . Contacted the seller to find out his reserve turns out I was $5 under his reserve. Took the 3hr ride to pick up lathe located in Sea Bright NJ. PO says the lathe came out of a north jersey school. the lathe was laying on it back on a pallet. fit in my van with no problem . Did not have any way to unload my lathe so I did the tear down in my van. It was in running condition but need parts. this was my first restore project an did not know any better so I called Delta direct for parts. paid more for the parts than the cost of the lathe. Did a good cleaning and sanding on all parts. repainted all parts and ordered new bearings. up graded with a new style switch and found all the accessories and the rare filler bed block on ebay. built a custom delta like mobile base. Wish I had some before pics
