Searching on CL one night pop up a pic of a delta band saw on a CI base. Sent a message every day for a week no luck. About 2 weeks later success PO contacted me. I now own my quest band saw for $100.The saw came out of the University of Penn maintenance dept. PO says that they found the saw while cleaning out there basement buried under junk. been there for over 30 years. A complete tear down of the saw. all parts were placed in a engine cooker for cleaning and removing layers of paint.I found this is the best way to remove paint and fast. all parts with rust were cleaned in a glass bead booth. parts repainted and ordered all new bearings.found all parts needed for the complete restore.
