Comments:
Just bought this machine from a friend who found it at a local high school shop that was closing. Haven't been able to find much information about the company other than what is here on Vintage Machinery. I believe it was manufactured after 1920 as the motor is from Master Electric Co. and they opened in 1920. The motor is 3 hp 3 phase. Overall the saw is in very good condition, I think the blade guards might be aftermarket but am not certain as there don't seem to be any pictures on the internet of this exact saw. If anyone knows anything please shoot me a note as I'd like to learn more. I'm hoping to do a quick refurb on the saw including a paint job and replacement of a few small parts that are missing but it really doesn't need much other than cosmetic work to make it look and run like new. Unfortunately there is no tag or label on the saw other than the L. Power and Co. cast name in the frame, though for some reason the P in Power is missing on this one.
