I never knew about Wheatley, until I saw the ad in Kijiji, listed under 'planer'. Picked it up from a machinist in Milton Jan/16 for 200. Said he had for 10 years and never used it. Both bed lift handle knobs were broken.
32" bed. 9/16" arbor.
Bearings were fine. Quiet. I just cleaned/oiled it up, ground the lift levers and honed the (somewhat new) knives. Very smooth solid heavy little unit. Love the ease of action on this.
Edit , April 2019. I've since restored two more of these. Great little machines!!
