I acquired this lathe from work. It was sitting in a back of a warehouse buried under a bunch of stuff. I saw it there and asked if i could have it and got it. I work for a company that makes painting supplies (brushes, paint tray etc.) I'm assuming that it was use to make extension poles. From the info I have found on the web that this was made in the early 50's(?) before the bros spilt up and the one brother moved the shop. The name plate says that it was made in Topeka, Indiana. Unfortunately it was missing the face plate, tool rest etc. I would love to find the missing parts so I can use it please drop my a email with any info and or a value of what I have. Thank-you David
