July 2005 update - this is the oldest 260 currently featured on OWWM. The No. 260 was originally detailed on drawing No. 260-E-102 of 08/07/29, and was a tilt-table design. Only 25 tilt-table units were produced with S/N 37872 of 03/17/30 being the first, and S/N 44572 of 02/13/37 last. As of this date, no tilt-table 260's have surfaced.

The first tilting arbor No. 260 was S/N 47055 of 02/07/39.

Also of interest is the smaller No. 290, which was the world's first double tilting arbor saw. Only 45 No. 290's were built over their 10-year run, with S/N 39049 of 10/19/31 being first, and S/N 51122 of 10/19/41 last.
