Nice bandsaw offered on ebay with an auction end date of April 19, 2005. Seller added the following information:

36 inch bandsaw with huge capacity and 3 HP, 3 phase motor .

American Sawmill Machinery saw with cast iron wheels and fully enclosed blade and wheels. Fully adjustable tilting table and height of cut. Square D magnetic starter and on/off pushbutton switch. New paint and all adjustments lubricated and working.

I bought this beast at auction from Old Dominion University where it sat in a maintenance shop for many years, nearly forgotten and seldom used.

It has never been outdoors and is in great shape. It needs new rubber tires available for about 100. It has babbit bearings that run smooth as silk and the wheels are tight and true. Saws like this with this amount of cast iron just aren't made anymore.
