This machine was given to me by a friend who is a woodworker for a living. He told me that his grandfather was the original owner. Based on the serial number, it was manufactured in 1949. It was it pretty rough shape when I got it, and needed a new drive belt and power cord. The motor runs like a champ, and it cleaned up very nicely!
