My second MBF. Found this saw on CL and struck a deal with the original owner's widow and daughter (two wonderful ladies) within 15 minutes of the ad posting. Drove 90 minutes to pick it up, and had a grand time learning about the original owner and looking some of his projects. I plan to do a restoration, but I honestly don't know where to begin. The saw is in nearly like-new condition and complete with all the standard items that were in the crate when he purchased it in 1958. The purchase price included a few blades and several original accessories from when the saw was first purchased. I also have the original bill of sale and owner's manual as well as a copy of Robert Scharff's book in mint condition. I am overjoyed to have made this special find. It will occupy a place of high esteem in my shop.
