This evening left work and drove 2 hours to Hartford Michigan and picked this up off of C list add in Southwest Michigan. (Was home by 8 p.m.) A very fair price of $250 I think. A State (B-4) OSS sander. 3 Phase motor. Purrs like a kitten. Table adjust is really nice and positive, has the slightest amount of surface rust. Table surface still shines through. Then disconnected and put in my Prious. Came with 7 spindles and one removable plate. Seems like switch was replaced. This sander came from the "Leggett @ Platt" furniture maker factory in Stikney Illinois I believe as that is where PO picked this up from only a week before. So the sander was brought home, back to Chi-town. (It also has a large #9 on it as well under all the greasy surface.) Paint seems very nice Sadly "Legget @ Platt" are importing all of their furniture now and is made somewhere else...shipped to the factory near Chicago... re-assembled from a box...re-boxxed and shipped out??? Machine has a Toledo Ohio badge on it as well. "Sold by:" "The Freeman Supply Company" Toledo Ohio. Will take apart, clean up then reassemble this coming spring. Will then sell my Boice Crane OSS. I have a 3 phase converter, so this should fit in easily.
