I found this saw on South Jersey Craigslist,I been looking for a number of years for a older Unisaw , this saw caught my attention. I made plans to see the saw one weekend ,well mother nature decided to dump a foot of snow on us that weekend, so we made plans for Monday afternoon. The saw sat in the owners garage, its company was about $500,000 worth of Vintage Corvettes ,nice, anyway the PO remembered winning the saw 20 years ago at a local auction ,the saw is mint, it looks like it had hardly been used. The cabinet was unmolested , no dents, holes, rust. The saw looks to be 100% original ,only thing missing were a few screws and the toggle switch, it was replaced with a newer type . Motor RI 1 hp single phase, starts right up and purrs. Checking the serial# off of the mother ship .puts this girl at 1945.Bearings will be replaced in time,this saw will be left as is.Love the patina on old arn.
