A few months back, I picked up a Larick Mdl 120 Profile Sander which was found on CL. This Colorado based company was established in 1988 according to their website: http://www.larickmachinery.com/aboutLarick.html . The Model 120 is no longer listed as an available product on their website, replaced I believe by the updated Model 150. My best guess is that the Model 120 I have was manufactured around 1993 making it about 23 years old. I think it is the first generation design of the Model 120 as it is equipped with a 1/2 hp motor and a 3/4" diameter spindle, along with an MDF table finished with a laminate surface. The later versions of the mdl 120 I have seen on the web are equipped with a 1 hp motor, 1" diameter spindle, a butcher block style solid wood top and a base cabinet in tan rather than the older model blue paint.
