THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR SALE, DON'T ASK, AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOUR ITEM "X" FOR IT. THIS IS NOT A SALES FORUM AND I DO NOT HAVE MACHINERY FOR SALE HERE.
I purch'd this Jeannin Electric Co. motor in Palmyra, NY recently, I paid $100 for it along with some ts parts from the Frank H. Clement firm. It is a single phase, repulsion induction motor. Info on it is; Type A125, Hp 1 1/2, Cy 60, Volts 110, Amps 18 (or 220 Volts at 9 Amps), RPM 1760. The patent info is from 12.19.16, 11.18.19 and 11.13.23. It is very heavy and weighs in at 110 lbs., and does spin. I've been told that it will start up, but needs a push to really go. Note the relatively new 110 plug below, it has been used recently. It originally powered a Frank Clement (of nearby Rochester,NY) ts (~12"), which is now a back yard table/yard art (sigh). The saw/motor was originally discovered on a farm, under a barn awning in Lyons, NY. My plan is to restore it to a more presentable and less rusty looking condition and to power something in the shop, ts, bs, etc.
