I saw this drill press on craigslist. The press was listed as, and had a plate on the pulley cover, indicating it was a Model F-400 "HI-DUTY" press made by Taylor Manufacturing Company of Milwaukee, WI. I thought at first that it was a dealer tag, but subsequent searches turned up info on Taylor. Info said they made two models of benchtop presses. Mine has a Delta 14" base and is a floor model. It may have been converted, or perhaps Taylor had a relationship with Delta during WWII.
