Comments:
Came from an estate via an online auction. Table has been "modified" and the rear legs have the original cross pieces broken out and replaced with steel bars. The original Barnes cast iron pedals had been replaced with bicycle pedals. Machine will be fully restored and a final picture posted here as a later date. Plans are to start a thread describing the restoration process. This machine used individual ball bearings in the lower pedal mount. Additional information on the Barnes line of grinders can be found at www.footpoweredmachinery.com.
