I acquired this machine from an individual in Michigan via OWWM. It's my first jointer and I really wanted a Delta on a cast iron stand. It came to me on an open stand. It was in relatively good condition, but I completely disassembled it, cleaned it, primed & painted it. I replaced bearings. I also put it on a cast iron stand. I am using a Delta Double Duty 1/2 horse power 2,850 rpm @ 50 cycles motor on it, which I also put new bearings in. The motor runs at 3,420 rpm on 60 cycles here in the U.S., and I put the appropriate pulleys on to achieve ~4,400 rpm at the cutter head. It runs great and is pretty to look at (I think).
