We've seen a couple of band saws referenced here and there with a Frank E Jones name plate affixed. I did an online search for as many examples as I could find to fill out our knowledge base somewhat.

This 36" band saw was sold at auction by Roller Auctions (Roller & Associates, Inc., 7500 York Street,Denver, Colorado 80229) in 2013. It appears that the sale price was $361 (which would have been a fantastic deal!). The machine was described as follows:

"Frank E. Jones B-36 Machinery Band Saw, 36" Throat, 7 1/2 Hp."

A 2nd B-36 band saw was listed in an online machines for sale post by "Reliable Tool": "FRANK E. JONES 35" HEAVY DUTY VERTICAL BANDSAW #B-36: $610"
The photo(s) were no longer accessible. However the machine specs indicate that the saw could be bought with different motor options:

True manufacturer of these saws is not known. Some OWWM and VM members have suggested that it may have been Rodgers Machinery Manufacturing Co. (aka Rodgers Production Machinery) also of Los Angeles. Note the 2nd to last photo, below, which appears to show that "Frank E Jones Machinery Corp, Los Angeles" was cast into the upper frame.
