My dad has had this foot powered scroll saw for as long as I can remember. It's missing some pieces, most notably the foot pedals. It was made by Schroeter Brothers Hardware Co. in St. Louis. I have found a lot of info on the company. The Schroeters bought out Simmons Hardware and turned it into one of the largest hardware stores in the country. I don't know any more on this saw. It seems to be well made. As I recall, there was someone reproducing these in the 1980s. I remember seeing the ad in Workbench magazine and elsewhere.
