Not much history is known for this machine, which was acquired from a local on-line ad. The seller had obtained it more than 10 years ago sitting in a discard pile from a local stamp printing company. The tilt table mechanism is a simple slotted cast iron bracket that clamps a through-rod to hold the table in place. It is powered by a 1/2hp RI Peerless motor mounted on a hinged motor bracket, driving a leather flat belt, and supported by a counterweight to reduce belt tension and weight on the motor arbor.
