After a rough shipping ordeal which broke the main casting and punctured the rear belt cover , the fellow OWWM member, from whom i was buying this from, donated this machine to the cause. Although there are not many salvagable parts and the parts that are salvagable need a lot of bodywork i look forward to the complete restoration, and this is my first real basket case, no offense Curtis. This will be one of those ones that i buy the parts when the price is right and no big rush, it wears me out.

The History:
The fellow OWWM'er that "sold" this to me says that he actually found this machine in the front yard of a house that was to be demolished. It originally had a cast base, but he is using that for another resto. He said there was a sticker on the top the said "O'Brien Machinery Co. Philadelphia, PA", which he informs me that the company had previously sold this to a school somewhere.

Work has begun. Disassembly started and moving on to stripping (paint perverts) and media blasting. My new cast base should arrive in the next week and i want to have as many parts ready to bolt on. I need a lot of parts, so if you have any to sell, lemme know, especially if you have a no. 132 toggle switch. I will post pictures as they come.
