This bandsaw is not mine---it belongs to submitter Don Reynolds.
In Don's own words, "I have had the band saw for about 15 years. It came from a shake saw mill In Hamilton, Wa. It is missing the table which is normal for shake mills. However the trunion is still in place. I have only a 1 1/2 hp motor on this one because I do mostly general shop work with it. I built a 27 X 46 table for it which allows plenty of room for most of my cutting jobs. I built a crude cover for the upper wheel but left the lower one open. When the saw is running there is about 300 lbs in motion so I sometimes walk up to it with the power off and give the lower wheel a good spin with my foot to cut off small pieces."
